Getting Started:
Expect to feel valued and honored!
Coaching is all about YOU. You decide where to focus, make the decisions, create the action steps, and will do 80% of the talking when we meet. This is about your life and your journey with God, not mine. I am committed to being ‘all there’ during our sessions and have created a plan to anticipate and minimize distractions, whether we meet in person or online. Coaching is a two-way, authentic and caring relationship. I am committed to loving and believing in you unconditionally!
Expect to be challenged!
As a coach, I am trained to ask you powerful questions and to provide accountability. Answering questions and taking real steps forward can be challenging, but it’s so worth it! Thinking about things you haven’t thought about before and doing things you’ve never done means that you are moving, which means you are alive and growing! Embrace the challenge!
The
process:
Before our 1st session –
You will complete a Coaching Prep form that walks you through discerning what you would like to focus on during our sessions. I will also provide some further information for you to read about coaching.
First session – 90 minutes –
In this session we will take some time to talk about and answer any questions you have about coaching. We will also each share our life stories so that we can get to know each other better and lay the foundation for a solid relationship to build on in future sessions. Then we’ll finalize the goal that you want to work on, clarify expectations by filling out a coaching agreement, and create a plan of action that you can start on right away!
Successive sessions – generally 50 minutes, every 2 weeks –
You will complete the Coaching Prep form and return it to me prior to each session so that we can make the very best use of our time together. You will walk away from each of our sessions with concrete actions steps that you created and will work on between sessions.
